A sense of fashion or style, whether for clothing or for décor in one's home is personal in a way that allows an observer a glimpse into your personality itself. I am a deep admirer of classic, minimal styles - which leave room for easy change and a certain lightness that never allows for boredom to set in.
And then, I believe in accessorizing. Go crazy with some bright cushions that you can change around in a whiff and add so much character to a room (don't forget to play with shapes and sizes) and bring in some gorgeous lighting to set the mood. Beautiful lighting is something you need, don't underestimate it's sheer power. Tone down the walls, the colours on your couches and furniture - and voila! You have a home that is effortlessly elegant, and warm at the same time.
